The former majority leader and immediate past councillor representing Ward 6 in Etsako East Local government area Hon. Alexander Ajanaku has admonished the leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) to adopt Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri as a consensus candidate because of his track record, capacity and love for humanity which he has displayed through his foundation, Anamero foundation over the years.
Hon. Alexander noted that next year’s election is not an election to gamble with or given to people who have never contested any election before to experiment.
Speaking to a journalist in Ekpoma after having a crucial meeting with some support groups of Hon. Anamero, hon. Alexander noted that the only aspirant who has the wherewithal to win next year’s election without stress for APC is Hon. Anamero Dekeri.
The former Etsako East Majority leade appealed to the leadership of APC in Edo state to adopt Hon. Anamero Dekerri as a consensus candidate of the party ahead of next year’s election.
In his words; “I have taken time to critically evaluate and studied the antecedent and personality of all the aspirants who are contesting for next year’s election under our party the APC and I must say with all honesty that hon. Anamero Dekeri stands out as the best therefore, he deserves to be adopted as a consensus candidate of the party come next year” Hon. Alexander admonished.
Speaking further, Hon. Alexander noted that Hon. Anamero has built schools, and markets, constructed roads, donated transformers, and boreholes, paid bursaries for students, and enrolled over 5000 thousand students in WAEC and NECO exams amongst others such as the distribution of exercise books with personal resources.
He noted that Hon. Anamero Dekeri popularly known as Danco who is the current member of the House of Representatives, Etsako federal constituency in the National Assembly is a household name in Edo state and beyond who had the wherewithal, capacity and experience to win election for APC in Edo state.
He appeals to party leaders and faithful to do away with primordial sentiment and tribalistic penchant to adopt Hon. Anamero as a consensus candidate because he will make Edo proud.
