When the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency had to choose their representative in 2023, they made the best choice by electing Hon. Anamero Dekeri. His nomination and election were based on his impressive track record, capacity, and unmatched philanthropic efforts in Edo State. Legislators are primarily responsible for creating, amending, and passing laws. They propose bills, participate in committee hearings to refine legislation, and vote on bills during sessions. Over the past year, Hon. Anamero has consistently performed his legislative duties despite conspiracies and challenges. He has been a major sponsor of APC activities in Edo State.
Here are some highlights of his stewardship as the representative of Etsako in the National Assembly within one year in office:
- Donated a transformer to boost electricity in Warake Road, Auchi.
- Built and donated industrial boreholes to the Imionor community in Okpella.
- Constructed and donated 30 open stalls in South Ibie, Etsako West.
- Made 32 persons millionaires, representing each of the 32 wards across Etsako Federal Constituency.

- Facilitated 200 Conditional Cash Transfers from the Small and Medium Scale Committee for constituents.
- Facilitated the appointment of three palliative agents across the three LGAs in Etsako Federal Constituency.
- Facilitated training for 60 women and youths through the Ministry of Niger Delta.

- Facilitated hospital equipment to public health care facilities in the three LGAs.
- Attracted musical equipment to places of worship across the three LGAs in Etsako Federal Constituency.
- Secured lecturing jobs at Auchi Polytechnic and other federal government agencies for several constituents.
Hon. Anamero Dekeri’s performance in the past year has outshone others despite conspiracies. He is the only representative who organizes constituency briefs to report back to the people who elected him, demonstrating integrity and commitment. Unlike others, he has not abandoned his constituency post-election, regularly visiting his people rather than relocating to Abuja.
