Although death has generally been admitted as an inevitable end that must come when it will, it is indeed extremely painful to lose High Chief Richard David at this time when his wealth of experience and wisdom are highly needed in the progress agenda of our people in Okpella and Edo State generally.

 

I hereby express my heartfelt condolence to the Okpella Traditional Council and the family of late Chief Richard David of Imiekuri in Okpella and Etsako East Local Government Area.

Our departed leader and the senior chief lived an exemplary life that was essentially dedicated to community service. He was a selfless man with great wisdom and his footprints would remain indelible in the annals of Okpella and Edo state.

 

I prayed for the repose of his soul and may God grant the family, his loved ones and the entire people of Okpella the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
